This palace is one of the world’s largest palaces and was built by Maharana Udai Singh. This palace is having eleven palaces, a Durbar Hall and a magnificent museum.

Another palace of udaipur, Jag Mandir is also awe-inspiring and is worth a visit. This palace was built by Maharaja Karan Singh on Lake Pichola. The main attraction of this palace lies in the stone statuette of elephants and also attractive Chattri or Cenotaphs. If like forts and palaces, then your next must-see attraction is Sajjan Garh Palace. This palace gives a captivating view of just like diadem on the rocky hill’s head. This enormous palace was built by Maharaja Sajjan Singh and is bestowed with great scenic views of the city, lakes and palaces.

Among the lakes, Fateh Sagar is really wonderful. This stunning lake was built by Maharana Fateh Singh to add charisma to the beauty of the city, udaipur. Fateh Sagar is sited in the surrounding area of Lake Pichola and Nehru Park, a dazzling park in between the lake with a boat-shaped café. Lake Pichola is the most striking and beautiful lake in udaipur. The attraction of this lake lies in the main spot – Shikarbadi. The two attractions that lie in the Lake are the Jag Mandir and the Jag Niwas. An arched bridge forms a connection of Lake Pichola with the beautiful lake – The Swaroopsagar Lake.

Besides lake and forts, udaipur is home to many famous temples also. The main temple is that of  Lord Vishnu. This Jagdish Temple is built by Maharana Jagat Singh and the popularity of the temple is just because of its mind-boggling sculpture and soaring Shikara. Among the gardens for leisure and joy, you must not miss Saheliyon Ki Bari and the Gulab Bagh. Saheliyon Ki Bari is the most wonderful garden with a lotus pool, verdant green lawns, fountains and superb views. The Gulab Bagh is quite popular among the children as this garden has a Zoo and a toy train for the kid’s entertainment.
